An independent project created by myself, partnered by Rachel Aka. It is a art book which houses a collection of experiences of a dozen students studying abroad in France 2014-2015. ExLibris means "from the library of" so this book was created for us students to claim ownership of this chapter of our lives. Through photography, illustration and a variety of creative writing this art book, written in English and French, gives the reader a glimpse into the nine month journey
In France, time was slow and it was visibly felt. We are constantly reminded by the beautiful scenery that changes with the seasons. Our book is divided by the seasons, to remind us of when and where we are.
To own this book, we encouraged our contributing writers to use whatever medium they are most comfortable expressing themselves in. Including writing their stories in a movie script, painting, cooking, and poetry.
